POCKETJOBS PILOT · SEPTEMBER 2026
Pilot Participation Terms
PocketJobs helps neighbours coordinate small local jobs during a limited pilot. These terms set the practical ground rules for participating safely.
Use the service honestly and safely
Only post or take work that is accurately described, legal, and safe to do. Do not use PocketJobs for emergencies, work requiring a regulated professional, or work involving unsafe heights, driving, hazardous materials, weapons, illegal activity, childcare, or access to a home without clear agreement.
Payment during the pilot
Payment processing is being introduced through Stripe. A host will add a payment method before posting a paid job, and an earner must complete Stripe payout setup before expressing interest. The host's card will not be charged when the job is posted; it will be charged only after the work has been verified as complete. PocketJobs does not store card numbers, bank details, or identity documents.
Communication and job details
Keep communication respectful and use the platform to confirm timing, scope, and what equipment is needed. Exact addresses are released only after the host and earner both confirm the job details.
Reporting concerns
Stop the job and use the in-account report option if anything feels unsafe, inappropriate, or materially different from the agreement. PocketJobs may pause an account or listing while reviewing a concern.
This pilot framework is operational guidance, not a substitute for legal, insurance, employment, or safety advice.
